How Many Steps In A Day

We get asked all the time, “how many steps should I have in a day?”

The answer is as always, it depends.

If you are looking for a general guideline, we would suggest this.

At a minimum, shoot for 7,000 steps.  You might find this pretty difficult to hit at first.  Especially if you have a job where you are primarily sitting.  It may take a great deal of intention an planning.

Once 7,000 steps is easy, we want to work toward hitting 8-10,000+ steps.

Our bodies were made to move, and the more we move, the better.

It is great for maintaining mobility, cardiovascular health, improved stress, relaxation, and so many more things.  Especially if you are able to get outside and do it!

Give it a try!  For the next 7 days, see if you can consistently hit 7,000 steps.  Once you have mastered that, set your goal a bit higher and see what benefits it brings to your life!
